Dear Readers,
This is the first of many posts I will be making over the course of the next three weeks as I tour central Europe. I am quite excited to be spending my January term traveling throughout Germany, Austria, and Hungary. To be more specific, we are staying in Berlin (January 15 - 22), Vienna (January 22 - 30), and Budapest (January 30 - February 1), with a day trip to Bratislava, Slovakia on January 25.
I have traveled in Munich, Salzburg, Graz, and Vienna before, in the winter of 2011, so I am familiar with Austria and the weather this time of year. The trip I took then was with my family and was much more leisurely than what I expect this class to be.
I look forward to visiting the cities and learning on site at all the museums, monuments, and historical places!
I will be posting many pictures as well.
